Nik Penny

I am an interdisciplinary visual artist with backgrounds in painting and textile design. I hold an Associate's degree from Wenatchee Valley College and am a current student at Oregon State University pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. My current work uses the programming skills I’m currently acquiring and methods of digital fabrication to create works that visualize data in a way that communicates not only information, but meaning and emotional resonance. I have shown work throughout the Greater Wenatchee Valley, produced several murals for Chelan County Parks and Recreation, and for 3 years ran a small business designing and producing textiles.
